Today's Mandarin class excursion was as interesting one albeit the cancellation of the class due to a blackout in the building.
There were car exhibits all along the road in Bukit Bintang starting from the entrance of Lot 10. In conjunction with F1 Grand Prix, a race car was displayed right outside while inside, there
was an array of activities going on - virtual racing was one of them.
Further along the Bukit Bintang walkway was a sporty red Ferrari. Taking pictures were the most difficult task as there were always people lingering around! It was definitely worthwhile waiting for the right moment to capture just a couple of pictures as we do not always get to see a Ferrari on the road. Not especially now when the price of petrol has sky rocketed!
The most interesting exhibit however was the vintage cars lined along the road facing Planet Hollywood. Now I'm talking about cars that are really older than me but tastefully maintained. The paint were shiny and spotless, the tyre rims and bumpers were gleaming silver, the wooden panels were smooth with the meters artfully placed and the leather seats were screaming for you to sit on.
Unfortunately, only the kids from the foster home, "Rumah Hope" were given the chance to ride in the cars that day.
