Test pictures

Got my Canon Powershot A410 digital camera on Oct 28, 2005. Hey, that's how this blog started! Anyway, here are the first two shots which I took, without reading the manuals and without knowing what the camera could do.

This was my very first picture. Taken automatically. It seems that the camera can auto-focus images that are about 2 in away and blur the background as effects! Cool!
Anyway, you guessed it, this was taken on my home balcony. My Dad's plant, the fragrant 'bunga melur'. It's now killing me coz no one's at home and I have to ensure that I water it every day. Oopss...I actually forgot about it yesterday evening...

This was the 2nd picture taken with the function shown as SCN. I guessed it meant scenery then. I didn't know there were also a few other modes in this SCN function.

Also taken from the 5th floor balcony of my home. Those are the rooftops of the double storey houses right in front and somewhere in the hills it's actually Genting!
