People and traffic

People cannot live without traffic lights, especially not in Malaysia. In the States, where there are no traffic lights at a crossroad, they take turns. In Japan, they flash their lights and take turns. In India, they honk and depending on the sound of the horn that indicates how desperate you are, you get to go first. In Malaysia, all four sides would drive to the centre and get stuck until a policeman comes to direct traffic. Yes, it is that horrible.
