I was in the lift with 2 other IT people at lunch. This was their conversation:
G: My Mum just sms-ed me.
B: Oh, so are you being fired?
G: Huh?
B: You said BH just sms-ed you.
G: No, I said my Mum sms-ed me.
B: I thought you said BH.
G: No, I said my Mum. Since when did my Mum become BH?
B: But I thought you said BH.
G: No, it was my Mum.
B: Oh.....

So, this is the way most IT people have conversations.
