The company has really turned to a new attitude. This is how the company says goodbye to leaving employees these days - by displaying a blown up, bigger than life sized picture in the store that receives more than 500,000 international visitors a year. Picture in mind - I'm gonna be as famous as Saddam Hussein. Since turnover is at its extreme high, we, especially the longer staying staff, don't expect the usual presents from the company employees anymore since it will probably break their budgets for the months to come. But this from the company is totally unexpected!
I would have expected only best wishes from acquantainces, hugs from the closer ones and perhaps lunch with the even closer ones but to be famous when you are about to leave is something out of the ordinary.

The ones leaving this month.....It rotates every month
Actual story: A Ms. P came over one day and told everyone to get their pictures taken. It was for the National Day project. They needed about 100 Malaysian faces to put together on a big wall. The first round received no response or little response. The second round, Ms. P went around the office promising us that all pictures will only be the size of a thumbnail and our faces would not be seen. Right! It is now the size of a 10R photo and Ms. P didn't actually need more than 100 did she?
Shall I charge royalty?

kewl! so you don't just have a hand print there, your face is there for the world to see.
at least they don't put any captions such as "these traitors were once working for us" or "if you see these people, call the cops".
They'll probably put the words up there by this Friday. In fact, there was an e-mail going around the office today about where they'll hold 'my last meal'.
See, people think that its death sentence leaving the company...
