The below stories are real and are death defying acts that I would not recommend anyone participating in it. I do not take any responsibility if one tries to assume these roles after reading my blog. This post is not meant for kids and kids over the age of eighteen will need parental guidance after reading. Don't leave a comment saying that I have not warned you.
I wonder which of these are scarier stunts:
1. Sitting in a Boeing for more than 24 hours when you feel totally dizzy and about to puke after the turbulances that you've gone through and you know you cannot go through even another tiny cloud when you hear an announcement, "We're sorry we could not land at our destination airport. There has been a plane crash at the airport. Please stay calm as this plane you're travelling on has enough gas to fly around for another hour or so while they clear up the mess. "
2. Sitting on another Boeing, looking forward to arrive at the destination and you hear this announcement, "Dear passengers, we are sorry to announce that we have to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport. There has been a crack on the windscreen of this plane but we assure you that we will land safely at the next airport. Please do not leave your seats and please fasten your seatbelts immediately." Although you get a free ride and stay at the newly built many stars hotel (then) with a Balinese bathtub at Sutra Harbour thereafter, you couldn't help feeling that you've just escaped death.
3. Going on a white river rafting trip which has rapids rated about 5 with names like 'washing machine'. You get the point. The rapids are drowning and pulls you into the river like the depth of your own height even if you had the lifejacket on. The river is filled with dirt and sand that could choke you to death. You've also been told that people have died previously by getting stuck at tree branches and some have lost their mouthful of teeth or break their bones. And you fall off the boat when it crashes......
4. Going into the sea with angry waves almost like tsunamis during the moonsoon season on a fishing motorboat and crashing down on each wave while you watch the driver maneuvering over the waves that appear like monsters right in front of you with mouths wide open and ready to swallow a dinosaur. The irony of this is that they tell you no one has ever had an accident and there have been no boats toppling over before. Ever. I thought I read about a boat accident two weeks ago in South China Sea?
Oh well, what is life without the adventures?
